Do's and Don't's

Do Hire a professional with experience. When you hire a professional you get just that a professional. You get someone that is familier with different ceremonies, can deal with the stresses of shooting weddings, and treat you, your family and guests with respect. When you hire a profesional you get professional photos, prints and wedding albums.

I think I can speak for most wedding photographers when I say that our needs are simple. I do this because I love it. I love Weddings, I love beautiful and unique photography, and I love to make people feel great when they see how gorgeous they look in their pictures. You don’t need the $50K wedding, or the ornate decorations, or the expensive venue. But if you want great Wedding pictures, then you want a photographer who’s invested in making you feel good and look fabulous.

Don't hire a family member, student or some stranger from Craig's List. When you you have a once and a life time ceremony such as your wedding don't leave it to chance. I have had heard too many horror stories from people who have used Craig's list photographers and ruined their special day. They either don't give what they have promised or just take bad photos. They may take a few interesting photos but does not make them make them a great wedding photographer. I have also heard sad stories where their family member said they would take photos of their wedding as a present to the couple. Some of the stories go like this, the person goes off and socializes instead of taking photos, they didn't take the formal photos that the couple wanted, and in the end a wonderful relationship with a family member suffers.
